Priscilla Richards

Priscilla Richards, of Covington, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023, at the age of 76. Mrs. Richards loved the Lord and her family. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, whether it was sharing stories of her childhood, going to the YMCA with them, or vacationing together. Mrs. Richards’ favorite hobbies included singing and playing the piano, playing Bingo, watching the Price is Right, and bird watching, especially Cardinals. In addition, she loved her fur baby, Hampton, and will be missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Richards was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Earl and Vida Mae Smith; and brothers, Hollis Smith, Randy Smith.

Survivors include her daughters, Pamela Kirkland (Bud), Angela Bradford; grandchildren, Brittany Dangar (Chase), Kelli McMickle, Anna Bradford, Will Kirkland; great-grandson, Austin Dangar; sister, Betty Bennett (Bobby); brother, Mike Smith; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Richards will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2023, 11:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Stan Patterson officiating and interment following in Green Meadows Memorial Gardens, in Conyers. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, on Tuesday prior to her service, from 9:30 – 11:00 A.M.
