Ralph Talmadge Jones

Ralph Talmadge Jones of Covington, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at the age of 83. Mr. Jones retired as a Tech Sgt. from the United States Air Force. He enjoyed playing golf, and going to football and baseball games. In keeping with living his life to the fullest, a venture to Biloxi, MS, was something Mr. Jones looked forward to monthly. He adored his family, spending time with them as often as possible. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert H. and Bessie (Sirmons) Jones; brothers, Robert Jones, Tom Jones; grandson, Ryan M. Jones.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jane Jones; daughters, Teresa Boman of Hope Hull, AL, Tracy Harris of Ramer, AL; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Jones, Alan Danny and Cathy Jo Jones, all of Covington; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Retha Bone of Covington; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Jones will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017, 2:00 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor David Armstrong-Reiner officiating and entombment following at Memory Chapel Mausoleum in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home Friday, March 3, 2017, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
