He was a devoted fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes Football and Basketball sports.
Another side of Ralph was his love of traveling, history and music. He and Bonnie enjoyed two trips to Europe and Celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Basel, Switzerland on a riverboat cruise of castles on the Rhine. He also encouraged her to pursue her love of singing as a member of the Covington/Conyers Choral Guild (20 years) and enjoyed their many concerts. He and his wife had organized two benefit golf tournaments previously.
Ralph was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Covington. He volunteered as an Auditor and was a past President and treasurer of the Agape Sunday School Class where he also taught.
