Ramona Mcguire

Ramona McGuire, of Covington, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the age of 79. Mrs. McGuire was a past member of Zion Baptist Church and was a current member of Church 213. She worked for Newton General Hospital and volunteered her time at the American Heart Association. Mrs. McGuire was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Thomas C. “Tom” McGuire, Jr.; parents, Cam and Irene Lamb; and brother, Wayman Lamb.

Survivors include her daughters, Robbin Lee (Robert), Cindy McGuire, Kim Glennon (Gary); grandchildren, Jessica Jeffares, Cameron Coker, Chris Kuhns (Elizabeth), Austin Kuhns; great-grandchildren, Kyleigh Jeffares, Saje Coker, Luke Boyd, Cohen Coker, McKenzi Kuhns, Nova Kuhns, Liam Kuhns; brother, Ray Lamb (Bert); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. McGuire will be held Thursday, July 13, 2023, 3:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Stan Patterson officiating and interment following in Zion Baptist Cemetery, in Covington, with Pastor Rick West officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family, one hour prior to her service, from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made to Parkinson’s Foundation at www.parkinson.org .
