Randy L. Smith, of Murrells Inlet, SC, formerly of Covington, passed away October 31, 2015, at the age of 51. Randy was a well-liked person who cared for others more than himself. In addition, he was an animal lover. Although his health often prevented it, he enjoyed interior decorating and planning weddings.
Survivors include his partner of 28 years, Michael E. Smith; sisters and brother-in-law, Betty and Bobby Bennett, Priscilla Sue Richards; sister-in-law, Geneva Smith; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 4, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Newton County Humane Society, P.O. Box 2536, Covington, GA 30015.
