Rawle M. Andrews

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Rawle Andrews, age 72, who left us on February 22, 2025. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, he touched the lives of many with his kindness, wisdom, and quiet strength. Mr. Andrews is survived by his loving wife, Yvette Andrews; children Rodney Andrews, Barry Andrews Pantin, Darlene Gomez, and Jenelle Andrews; and his siblings Andre Andrews, Cheryl Waldropt, Janice Lezama, and Glen Andrews.

Mr. Andrews had a passion for swimming and could often be found enjoying the calm of the water. He had a love for watching television, particularly old shows that brought him comfort, and a deep affection for traveling—especially on cruises. His love for music was equally profound, and he was a talented musician with skill and joy. He loved fixing things and could often be found working on his beloved fish pond, creating a tranquil space that mirrored his calm demeanor. His love for technology was also evident in his enjoyment of playing on his phone.

A man of few words, Mr. Andrews had a quiet, yet profound way of communicating. He was always a great listener, making those around him feel valued and heard. His love for sweets, particularly ice cream and cake, was well-known, and he had a neat and dapper style that never went unnoticed.

In addition to his many talents and passions, Mr. Andrews was a devoted Sunday School teacher and a Deacon, showing his deep commitment to his faith and his community. He loved people and always gave of himself selflessly, both in his church and in his personal life.

He was preceded in death by his parents Randolph and Merle Andrews, his beloved grandmother Emelda Best, his sister Jacqueline Ramnarine, and his son Kevin Andrews Pantin.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington, Georgia. A service will follow at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home.
