Raymond Travis Holman,

Access RoadRaymond Travis Holman, Sr., of Oxford, passed away April 14, 2012, at the age of 67. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, gardening, preaching and singing. Mr. Holman was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Lela Mae (Owens) Holman.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Holman; sons and daughter-in-law, Ray and Carrol Holman, Dennis Holman,  all of Oxford; grandchildren, Lauren Holman, Grant Holman, Ella Holman, Katelyn Dole, Amberly Holman, Denise Holman, Dennale Holman; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Ernest Evans of Covington, Rena Jo Duncan of Hoschton, Ellen Edwards of Gwinnett; brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Lisa Holman of Butler, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Cryptside Service for Mr. Holman will be held Monday, April 16, 2012, 10:00 AM, at Memory Chapel Mausoleum at Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Sunday, April 15, from 1:00-3:00 PM.
