Raymond Lee Robinson, Sr.

Raymond Lee Robinson, Sr., of Covington, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at the age of 80. Mr. Robinson loved going to church and was very involved with the outreach program. He enjoyed being active and outgoing, listening to and singing Gospel music, playing his guitars, and watching old westerns. Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Robinson; wife, Mildred Robinson; sons, Ray Robinson, Wayne Robinson; and parents, Zolon and Bessie Robinson.

Survivors include his daughter, Penny Cheek (Doug); son, Dale Robinson (Sallie); grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as his brother, Jimmy Robinson.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Robinson will be held Sunday, June 18, 2023, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Brother Lawrence officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial park. Friends are invited to visit with the family, at the funeral home, one hour prior to his service, from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M.
