Reverend Carl C Morrow

Reverend Carl C. Morrow, a treasured soul and beacon of faith, departed from this world on December 26, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving a legacy of love and devotion to the Lord. Carl was born to the late Jesse and Frank Morrow in Heflin, Alabama, on August 1, 1923, and found his eternal rest in Cleveland, Georgia. Carl's journey through life was marked by his selfless service to his country in World War II and a tireless work ethic that saw him behind the wheel of a tractor-trailer for over 30 years. After his time on the road, Carl pursued other business adventures with an entrepreneurial spirit, but his true passion always lay in ministering to others. He dedicated many years to spreading God's word, pastoring churches in Douglasville and Hiawassee with immense zeal. A loving, kind, and faith-filled man, Reverend Morrow was married for 74 years to his beloved wife, Frances Morrow and his great-grandchildren Olivia Arrendale and Jeffery Schneider who preceded him in death.

He is survived by a loving family, including his daughters and son-in-law, Margaret Lindsay and Nancy and Clayton Hartley; his son, David Morrow; nine cherished grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and five adorable great-great-grandchildren, who will carry on his story. Carl will be forever remembered by those he touched for his unwavering commitment to his family, his community, and his Lord. His humble example of servant leadership and the deep, enduring love he shared with so many will continue to inspire for generations to come.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Morrow will be held Friday, December 29, 2023, 1:00PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Johnny Purcell officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
