Robert Cox

Robert Cox, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at the age of 90. Mr. Cox was a member of Conyers Church of Christ. He was a hard worker retiring at the age of 78. In his spare time, he enjoyed working in the yard and going out to eat. Mr. Cox was a big fan of the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, and the Georgia Bulldogs. He loved his family and friends dearly and will be missed by all who knew him. Mr. Cox was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Cox; son, Robert Duane Cox; and parents, Robert Stevens and Lillian Corinne Cox.

Survivors include his daughters, Laurie Hines (John), Beth Dozier (Dave); grandchildren, Renee Echols (Michael), Matthew Hines (Candace), Nathan Hines (Meleah), Jordan Johnson (Sidney), Mason Dozier; as well 7 great-grandchildren.
