Robert Livingston Hicks

Robert Livingston Hicks, Sr., of Covington, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the age of 75. Mr. Hicks was a devout Christian and member of Eastridge Community Church. He was the founder of Golden Rule Automotive, in Covington. Mr. Hicks was also a grief counselor and certified scuba diver. He had a lifelong love of cars and was always mastering different hobbies and new skills. Mr. Hicks was a devoted father, caring brother, and loving grandfather. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Lee Hicks; parents, James Livingston and Mary Virginia Hicks; and brother, David Anderson Hicks.

He is survived by his children, Robert Livingston Hicks, Jr., Kimberly Hicks Caudill (Ray), James Hicks, Heather Rebecca Hicks, Greg Hicks (Sara); 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Sandy Hicks Stacy (Jim), Debbie Hicks Gattoni (Rick).

A Memorial Service for Mr. Hicks will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023, 12.30 P.M., at Eastridge Community Church, 863 GA-142, in Covington, with Pastor Gary Thompson officiating.
