Rodney Lyle Jacobs

Access RoadRodney Lyle Jacobs, of Oxford, died peacefully at his home, March 29, 2010, at the age of 59. Born May 14, 1950 in Dixon, Illinois to the late Clifford and Bernadine Allen Jacobs, he was a 1972 graduate of the University of Georgia and worked for Symons Corporation from 1972-2009.  Survivors include his wife of 38 years Candace Fairfax Jacobs of Oxford; daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Frank Reda of Charlotte, NC, Julie and William Stanfield of Atlanta; grandchildren, Zachary Reda and Taylor Reda; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Susan Jacobs of Freeport, IL. Funeral services for Mr. Jacobs will be held on Friday, April 2, 11:00 AM, at the chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, with Celebrant Adam Cooper officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 1, from 6 PM to 9 PM.
