Rodney Eugene Lane

Rodney Eugene Lane, of Social Circle, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019, at the age of 65. Being outside enjoying nature was one of his favorite pastimes. Rodney Eugene especially loved animals and listening to music. He was preceded in death by his father, Otho Harry Lane; and sister, Janet Rebecca Knoll.

Survivors include mother, Janet Buchanan Lane; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Maximina Lane, Russell and Lynn Lane; brother-in-law, John Knoll; as well as three nieces, one nephew, one great niece, two great nephews, and numerous cousins.

A Funeral Service for Rodney Eugene will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019, 11:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Dr. Jeff Perkins officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park, Covington. Friends may visit with his family, one hour prior to service, from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Conyers Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 3001 Old Salem Road, SE Conyers, GA 30013.
