Rodney Wiggins

Rodney Wiggins, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the age of 60. Mr. Wiggins was a hardworking and dedicated employee of Universal Steel Incorporated for over 44 years. He enjoyed going fishing, especially at his favorite location Lakeview in Covington. Mr. Wiggins took great pride in his clown figurine and rooster collection. He loved taking trips to the beach and mountains with his family, frequently visiting Panama City Beach, Helen, and the Great Smoky Mountains in Cherokee. Mr. Wiggins adored his wife and children and treasured his grandchildren dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Wiggins; children, Derek Wiggins (Makayla), Daniel and Taylor Wiggins; grandchildren, Hunter Wiggins, Easton Langham, Nevaeh Wiggins, Raeleigh Wiggins; sister-in-law, Connie Stafford; mother-in-law, Hazel Poe; brother-in-law, Rodney and Leigh Poe; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Wiggins will be held Sunday, October 16, 2022, 10:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Nolan Jackson, Jr. officiating.
