Roger Crews

Roger Crews, of Covington, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021, at the age of 55. Roger loved his job doing tree work and was great at it. He was a dog lover, enjoyed riding his motorcycle and hanging out at PBG. Roger was an adrenaline seeker and liked doing anything exciting, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his friends, family and especially hanging out with his son, Craig. He was preceded in death by his mother, Winnie Ann Jones Crews; and sister, Sheri Denise Crews Schonleber; paternal grandparents, Russell J. Crews and Lizzie Snead Crews; maternal grandparents, Henry J. Jones and Lillie LaDora Miller Jones

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Leonard and Carolyn Crews; wife, Cheyenne Crews; girlfriend, Teresa Kendrick; son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Gabrielle Pearce; daughters, Victoria Miller, Carlie Fortt; grandchildren, Caylen Ann, Isabella Lorgé, Aubrey Ione, Kenneth Isaiah, Wyatte Pearce, Whitley Pearce, Sarah Pearce, Gannon Glasgow, Alana Puga,; brother-in-law, David Schonleber and wife, Tami; uncle and aunt, Eugene and Alice Crews; niece, Caitlin Schonleber; nephews, Trevor Schonleber and Devin Schonleber; his fur babies, Marley, Smokey, and Rocco; long-time friend and mentor, David Hinesley; as well as many other relatives and friends remain to mourn his passing.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Crews will be held Thursday, November 4, 2021, 6:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Justin Adams officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, two hours prior to his service, from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M.

Governor Brian Kemp’s latest executive order has eliminated restrictions on large gatherings; however, CDC guidelines recommend social distancing (6 feet apart) and wearing of masks while in public. Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home requests that you observe these recommendations while in our funeral home attending visitations and/or services.
