Ronald A. Moore

Ronald A. Moore of Conyers, passed away August 10, 2018, at the age of 78. Mr. Moore had a strong work ethic. He served his country in the Air National Guard, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel, and serving and retiring from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting and traveling. Mr. Moore was a wine connoisseur and was knowledgeable in all aspects of wine tasting. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Doris Moore.

Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Loretta Boykin Moore; daughters and sons-in-law, Alicia and Hank Strickland, Andrea and Vic Gibson; son and daughter-in-law, Van and Vanessa Moore; grandchildren, Joshua and Stephanie Warren, Brooke and Kirk Sweeney, Aaron Strickland, Alaina Strickland; and great-grandchildren, Bryce, Casey, Mason.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Moore will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2018, 2:00 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Tanner Cline officiating and interment following in Oak Hill Cemetery, 96 Jefferson Street, Newnan, GA 30263. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM.
