Rosie Colburn

Rosie Colburn of Covington passed away Monday, December 7, 2020, at the age of 40. Rosie was very loving and a wonderful daughter to her mother, Mary. Though she was known by her family and friends as being very opinionated and speaking what was on her mind, she loved her family dearly. Rosie enjoyed the art of tattoos and traveling to the mountains. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Thomas Colburn; step-brother, Leon Colburn.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Jane Colburn; sisters, Karen Parker, Cheryl Snyder, Kimberly Boswell; brothers, Greg Colburn, Ronnie Boswell, Dale Colburn, Mike Colburn, Josh Boswell, Andrew Boswell; step-sisters, Wanda Hamilton, Gail Blackston, Brenda Winchester; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Rosie will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020, 3:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor J.B. Leachman officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, two hours prior to her service from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M.

CDC guidelines recommend social distancing (6 feet apart) and wearing of masks while in public.  Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home requests that you observe these recommendations while in our funeral home attending visitations and/or services.  In addition, gatherings are limited to 50 persons or less in our facility at one time.  Please honor these restrictions for the safety of the family, yourself, and our staff.
