Floyd StreetRuby Dell (Wiggins) Davis of Mansfield, passed away March 19, 2011, at the age of 83. She was a member of Mansfield Baptist Church. Mrs. Davis worked for Pacific Uniform Company, for more than 40 years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and reading. Mrs. Davis was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Wesley Davis, Sr.; granddaughters, Tara Adair, Tiffany Johnson; parents, Elzy and Emmie (Fulmer) Wiggins; and her brother, Lewis Wiggins. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-laws, Dolores Davis of Covington, Kathy and Rev. Doug Craver of Mansfield, Lisa and Mark Baker of Covington; son and daughter-in-law, G.W., Jr., and Mary Ann Davis of Mansfield; grandchildren, Michael Johnson, Nicole Roberts, Stephen Craver, Cory Craver, Wes Davis, Jake Davis, Keith Baker, Evanne Davis, Dorrie Baker; great-grandchildren, Chad Cope, Marissa Nelson, Jordon Adair, Mackenzie Nelson, Jared Adair, Justin Adair, Devin Johnson, Walker Roberts, Will Roberts; 1 great-great granddaughter; sisters and brother-in-law, Essie Mae Cochran of Statesboro, Louise Neal of Garfield, GA, Betty Ellison of Twin City, GA, Mary and Charles Johnson of Canoochee, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, J. T. and Jackie Wiggins of Pembroke, GA, Charles and Joanne Wiggins of Newnan, Buddy and Callie Wiggins of Brooklet, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services for Mrs. Davis will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2011, 11:00 AM, at Mansfield Baptist Church, with Dr. Jeff Perkins officiating, and interment following in Carmel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, Monday, March 21, from 5:30-8:30 PM.
