Ruby L. Sullivan

Access RoadMrs. Ruby L. Sullivan of Covington, passed away March 3, 2010, at the age of 84. She attended County Line Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Mrs. Sullivan enjoyed gardening and doing word searches. Most important to her was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Sullivan and her husband, Robert would have celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary Friday. She was preceded in death by her parents, S.A. and Luvene Jackson Bowers; and her sister and brother. Survivors include her loving husband, Robert Sullivan of Covington; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Frank Richardson of Covington, Jane Hooper of Monticello, Betty Ann and Ricky McCoy of Dublin; grandchildren, Danny Joe Richardson, Mike Richardson, Rod Richardson, all of Covington, Barry Hooper, Stephen Hooper, both of Monticello, Mandi Harris of Dublin, Richard McCoy of Smyrna; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Sullivan will be held Friday, March 5, 3 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. J. Clifton Brown, Rev. Dickie Johnson, and Rev. Bob Whitmire officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday, March 4, from 5-8 PM.
