Ruth S. Edge

Access RoadRuth S. Edge of Covington, passed away April 13, 2012, at the age of 85. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. Mrs. Edge retired from Lockheed, with more than 18 year of dedicated service. She enjoyed flower gardening, and she loved her family dearly. Mrs. Edge was preceded in death by her husband, Mercer R. Edge; parents, John Henry and Mary (Cagle) Savage; and eight siblings. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry M. and Carolyn Edge, Robert L. and Hazel Edge, all of Covington; grandchildren and their spouses, Jody and Toni Edge, Stacy and Jodi Edge; great-granddaughters, Lauren and Dan Anthony, Alexis Edge, Daphney Taylor; great-great-grandchildren, Carson Anthony, Annie Anthony; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Edge will be held Monday, April 16, 2012, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington, with Rev. Mike Wadley and Rev. Mike Nickolich officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, April 15, from 5:00-8:00 PM.
