Ruth Hall

Ruth Hall, of Oxford, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019, at the age of 91. Mrs. Hall had a deep appreciation for the simple things in life. She was an attentive and caring family woman who liked to cook delicious meals, had a passion for crafting, and enjoyed fishing. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband, Lionell Hall; and son, Larry Hall.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Kent Hurd; grandchildren and spouses, Michael and Kate Hall, Suzanne and Travis Smith, Katie and Michael Cobb; as well as great-grandchildren, Boden Smith, Dillon Hall, Sam Cobb, Will Cobb.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Hall will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2019, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Tom Lee officating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park, Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, one hour prior to her service, from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M.
