Sara Christine Bell

Sara Christine Bell of Riverdale, passed away December 1, 2014, at the age of 95. Mrs. Bell was previously a member of First Baptist Church of Riverdale where she taught both Sunday School and Bible School. She was currently a member of Heatherwood Baptist Church. She adored their home, in Riverdale, and loved working in her vegetable and flower gardens. At her leisure, she enjoyed decorating and sewing. Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her husband, Walter C. Bell; sisters, Mary Ehney, Jessie Moore; and her brother, David L. Hitchcock.

Survivors include her sister, Ann Pace of Rutledge; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Bell will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2014, 11:00 AM, at Lawnwood Memorial Park, in Covington, with Rev. Doug Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Wednesday, prior to the service, from 10:00 - 10:50 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heatherwood Baptist Church, 2195 Hwy 138 SW, Riverdale, GA 30296.
