Sara Ellen Dobbs

Sara Ellen Dobbs of Covington, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019, at the age of 88. Mrs. Dobbs was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church where she enjoyed worshipping and participating in activities. In her spare time, she delighted in reading and gardening. Mrs. Dobbs centered her life around both faith and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Dobbs; parents, T.R. and Rilla Brookins.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Carol Dobbs Fountain (David), Kay Dobbs Bell (James), Kathy Dobbs Reinhard (Ken); son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Melanie Dobbs; grandchildren and their spouses, Michelle and Jeff Bost, Michael and Amy Mitchell, Kristy and Richard Olds, Brooks and Rochelle Dobbs, Travis and Melanie Bell, Brad and Amy Dobbs, Jessica Reinhard; great-grandchildren, Austin, Daniel, Marti, Ty, Hunter, Drew, Paxton, Parker, Oliver; sister, Annelle Harrison; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Dobbs will be held Sunday, January 13, 2019, 2:00 P.M., at Shiloh United Methodist Church, 10 Almon Church Road, in Covington, with Rev. Mike Wadley and Rev. Ronnie Capes officiating and interment in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Saturday, January 12, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church Building Fund, 10 Almon Church Road, Covington, Georgia.
