Scott Lynn

Scott Lynn of Covington, passed away June 17, 2017, at 74 years of age. After dedicating 20 years of service to Hercules, Mr. Lynn retired and went to work for Walmart in Monroe, where he performed various duties. He enjoyed being outdoors - either tooling around in the yard, or sitting on the front porch watching the cars pass by. Mr. Lynn will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Will and Inez (Lee) Lynn.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Sandra Williamson Lynn; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammey and Randy Johnson, Amanda and Jason Longo; son and daughter-in-law, John Wesley and Kelly Lynn; grandchildren, Anthony Swort, and wife, Nicole, Jake Lynn, Sage Lynn, Michael Johnson, Ethan John Michael Longo, Kaitlyn Madison Longo, Madilyn Elizabeth Longo; great-grandchildren, Theodore Swort, Clementine Swort; sister, Ruby Howard; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Lynn will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2017, 2 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Tanner Cline officiating. Interment will follow in New Covington Cemetery, Covington. Friends may visit with his family at the funeral home, Tuesday, June 20, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM.
