Scott Lee Duckett

Scott Lee Duckett, of Monticello, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024, at the age of 52. Mr. Duckett fought a long battle with heart disease beginning in 2004 with Cardiomyopathy, and in 2005 he went in for a heart transplant but showed improvement, so they did not, and he lived for another 20 years. He liked fishing and enjoyed collecting things, especially anything from Star Wars. He loved his family dearly and will be missed by all.

Survivors include his mother, Brenda Moore McMillan (Don); father, Jerry Duckett; children, Leta Cook (Josh), Andrew Duckett, Haylea Duckett; Grandson, Tobias Cook, sister, Amber Duckett; brother, Shane Duckett (Michelle); as well as several aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Visitation for Mr. Duckett will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M., at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington.
