Sharon Maddox

Sharon Maddox of Porterdale, passed away December 24, 2014, at the age of 66. Ms. Maddox was a member of Gaithers United Methodist Church, a Sunday School Class Treasurer and loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Joann Knight, Faye Aiken, Vivian Maddox; brother, JC Maddox; and grandson, Gary Daniel Cronan.

Survivors include her daughter, Wendy Odum of Oxford; sons and daughter-in-law,
Alvin and Angie Cronan of Covington, Sammy Cronan of Covington; grandchildren, Michael Alvin Cronan, Jr. and Tori Cronan, Samantha Shay Cronan, Samuel Wayne Cronan, Jr., Mollie Elizabeth Cronan, Garrett James Odum, Ryder James Cronan and Lynley Suzanne Cronan; great-grandchildren, MacKenzie Sha Cronan and Mason Harrison Cronan; sisters, Glenda Austin of Greta, LA, Gail Lindsey of Porterdale, Betty Shaw of Covington, Shirley Crawford of Porterdale; brothers, Lynwood Maddox of Tucker, David Maddox of Fairmont, Wayne Maddox of Porterdale; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Ms. Maddox will be held Monday, December 29, 2014, 1:00 PM, at the
Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Danny Standard and Terry Carter officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, December 28, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Interment will be held in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Jackson, Georgia.
