Stanley Davis Parnell

Stanley Davis Parnell went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2012. He was a member of Christ Cornerstone Church. Stanley was born in Porterdale, GA on Auugust 25, 1935 to Rev. Roy McToyer and Lillie Bell Davis Parnell. He was married to Geraldine W. Pennington Parnell. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Belle Parnell, and his wife, Geraldine Parnell.
Mr. Parnell is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Peggy P. and L. Randall Lamb of Evans, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Roy D. and Linda Parnell, also of Evans, GA, Timothy W. and Ann Parnell, of Conyers, William H. Parnell of Baxley, GA; grandchildren, Chris, Brad, and Kevin Lamb, Dale, Michael, Amanda, Lauren, Tiffany and Josh Parnell, Bridgette Venable; great-grandchildren, Grayson and Rion Lamb, Greenly Parnell, and Tyler, Taylor, Marybeth and Allison Venable; sister and brother-in-law, Dinah and Terrell McBroom of Barnesville, GA, brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Loretta Parnell of Lafayette, IN. In addition, Stanley is survived by his dear friend, Becky Cross. The family is eternally grateful for her care and devotion to their Dad.
A Graveside Service for Mr. Parnell will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Westover Memorial Park, 2601 Wheeler Road in Augusta, with Pastor Darrell Payne officiating. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington, Wednesday, January 18, from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M.
