Starling Kiser

Mr. Starling Kiser, age 80, of Conyers, passed away June 28, 2020. He was born in Walton County January 29, 1940, to Harvey W. Kiser, Sr., and Effie Womack Kiser. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mabel Kiser, whom he fondly referred to as his pride and joy; his only daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Mark Waters; three grandchildren, Christopher Waters and fiancée, Jill Little, Alison and Josh Brooks, Sam and Morgan Waters; and his three precious great-granddaughters, Navy and Sailor Brooks and Cora Waters.

After retiring from driving a school bus, Starling enjoyed working on clocks and guns, collecting John Deere tractors, but more than anything, he enjoyed the time he spent with his family and friends.

A Funeral Service for Starling will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2020, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Jim Ross officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park, Covington. Friends are invited to visit the family at the funeral home, one hour prior to his service, from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. Flowers are accepted, or a donation may be made to the Children’s Playground Fund at Sharon Baptist Church, 5690 South Sharon Church Road, Loganville, Georgia 30052.
