Tamie Hinson

Tamie Hinson, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at the age of 42. Tamie was a 1997 graduate of Faith Academy. She loved school and was a proud spelling bee champion in the 5th grade. Tamie enjoyed swimming and singing karaoke. She had a kind heart and was always willing to help anyone in need and supported her children in any way. Tamie was preceded in death by her mother, Pamela Mayo.

Survivors include her daughters, Ciera Newsome (Tyler), Mackenzie Hinson; son. Randall Osborn; father and step-mother, James A. “Tony” Floyd (Michelle R.); sister, Tabatha Osborn; brothers, Tony Floyd (Michelle), Wesley Mayo (Jessica), Justin Mayo (Emily); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Tamara will be held Friday, December 17, 2021, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor J.B. Leachman officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, one hour prior to her service, from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M.

Governor Brian Kemp’s latest executive order has eliminated restrictions on large gatherings; however, CDC guidelines recommend social distancing (6 feet apart) and wearing of masks while in public.  Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home requests that you observe these recommendations while in our funeral home attending visitations and/or services.
