Tammy Pauline Roper Dvorak

Tammy Pauline Roper Dvorak of Oxford, passed away August 2, 2012, after complications during surgery. She was 42 years old at the time of her death. Tammy served Covington and Newton County as an emergency dispatcher for four years. Her main interest was being a mother, and it saddens us that Tammy left so soon. She is loved, and will be greatly missed by her friends, her family, and the entire community. Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Claud T. Roper. Survivors include her daughter, Savannah Lynn Dvorak; son, Trenton Thomas Dvorak; mother, Cathy Roper; sister, Kimberly Wheatley, all of Oxford; brother, David Roper of LaPlace, IL; numerous family and friends. Funeral Services for Tammy will be held Monday, August 6, 2012, 3:00 PM, at Central Community Church, in Covington, with Rev. Darrell Allen officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church Monday, one hour prior to the service, from 2:00-3:00 PM.
