Teresa Wilbanks Fowler

Teresa Wilbanks Fowler, of Oxford, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019, at the age of 48. Teresa was a lifelong resident of Covington, and a 1990 graduate of Newton County High School. She worshipped and was a faithful member of Conyers First Baptist Church. Teresa worked at Avondale Cotton Mills, in Monroe, for many years. She will be remembered for her selfless nature, and her desire to make family and friends feel happy, loved, and cared for. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy Lee and Louemma (Dean) Wilbanks; and brother, Robert Wilbanks.

Teresa's memory will be carried on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, including her fiancé, David Delong; daughter, Samantha Still and her fiancé, Austin Price, of Juliette; son, Charles Fowler of Oxford; father, George Alfred Allen; sisters and brother-in-law, Brenda Thompson, Linda and David Weathers; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Odessa Wilbanks, Danny and Kathy Wilbanks, Clyde Wilbanks, John Allen; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as her beloved fur baby, George.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
