Thomas "Tommy" C. Kelly

Thomas "Tommy" C. Kelly of Covington, passed away June 12, 2017, at the age of 66. In addition to serving 2 ½ years in the Army, for 21 years, Mr. Kelly flew as a Mission Pilot for Civil Air Patrol. He gave his time freely making wedding videos and lending a helping hand whenever and wherever needed. Mr. Kelly also enjoyed entertaining as an amateur magician. He was preceded in death by his father, Augustus Thomas Kelly; and sister, Ada Kelly.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Deborah Kelly of Covington; daughter, Kerri Anne Womack of Jackson; grandchildren, Abby Womack, Aiden Womack; mother and step-father, Winnie and Olin Smith of Columbia, SC; sister, Karen Brown Light; half-brother, Michael Smith; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Kelly will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017, 3:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington, with Art Stansberry officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service on Saturday, from 2:00 - 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mr. Kelly may be made to Mt. Carmel Christian Church, Benevolence Fund, 6015 Old Stone Mountain Rd., Stone Mountain, GA 30087.
