Access RoadThomas "Bud" Russell, of Covington, died Monday, April 1, 2013 at the age of 74. In his earlier years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bud was a hardworking man who loved his family.Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Rachel Russell of Covington; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Robert Rogers of Social Circle; Vickie and Mickey Kitchens of Conyers; grandchildren, Russell Rogers, Gracie Rogers; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jordy and Ralph Witcher, Jean and Tom Lutton, Sharon and Harry Sanders; brothers and sister-in-law, James and Dianna Russell, Steve Russell, Michael Russell; numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral Services for Mr. Russell will be held Friday, April 5, 2013, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Franklin D. Kitchens and Rev. Richard Culpepper officiating, and interment following in Social Circle City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, April 4, from 6:00-8:00 PM.
