Tony James Lewis of Covington, passed away June 9, 2015, at the age of 52. Tony was a jovial man, who never met a stranger, always left a smile on everyone's face and lived life to the fullest! He enjoyed camping and riding his motorcycle, but more than anything, he loved spending time with his family who he loved dearly. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Horace Daniel Lewis; and his brothers, Daniel Claude and Richard Kinnett Lewis.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Lewis; daughter, Kelli Marie Lewis; son, Daniel James Lewis, all of Covington; niece, Brandi Wilkes and her husband, Brandon, of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Elizabeth Annette, Jaxon Chase and soon-to-arrive, Delilah Anne; mother, Lora Jean Lewis of Covington; aunt, Ann Kinnett Kelley of Conyers; brothers and sister-in-law, Dean Lewis, Ted Lewis, both of Covington, Andy and Lavina Lewis of Madison; sisters-in-law, Sandy Adler and her husband, Sid, Kim Freeman; brother-in-law, Shawn Potter; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral Services for Tony will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015, 12:00 PM, at Zion Baptist Church, 7037 Highway 212, in Covington, with Rev. Reese Sanders officiating. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Friday, June 12, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM.
