Tony Morris of Covington passed away Friday, May 14, 2010, at his residence. Mr. Morris volunteered for the Covington/Newton County Recreation Department for 15 years and worked for Cleary Exterminating Service. He was a member of The Church at Covington and was known to be the world's greatest napper. Mr. Morris is survived by his wife, Lisa Payton Morris of Covington; sons and daughter-in-law, James Anthony and Jessica Morris of Oxford, John Randal Morris and Tanita of Athens; granddaughter, Arabella Morris of Oxford; mother-in-law, Charlene Payton of Covington; brothers-in-law, Jeff Payton and Phil and Cheryl Payton all of Covington; sisters, Deborah Martin of Lithonia, Eljuana Dailey of Conyers and Esther Martin of Hiawassee; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Mr. Morris will be Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at 2pm at The Church of Covington with Rev. Phil Payton officiating. Mr. Tony Morris' cremains will be interred at Lawnwood Memorial Park immediately following the service. Donations may be made to Tony Morris Memorial Fund, 378 Gregory Road, Covington, GA 30014.
