Trammell Dwight (Ike) Jones

Access RoadTrammell Dwight (Ike) Jones of Porterdale, passed away September 8, 2010, at the age of 58. He was born in Monroe, Georgia, to the late William F. and Dixie (Duncan) Jones. Mr. Jones was employed with Kitchens Flooring for 18 years. He loved hunting, fishing, and vegetable gardening; and also enjoyed playing softball and baseball. Survivors include his wife, Ann (Gentry) Jones of Porterdale; daughters, Tabitha Jones, Bridgette Jones, Christie Jones; sons, Jamie Jones, Dylan Johnson; brothers and sister-in-law, William M. and Deborah M. Jones, John T. Jones, all of Covington; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cammie and Bobby Parker of Covington, Debbie and Mike Fox of Porterdale, Sharon and Jeff Morgan of Oxford, Janet Dahman of Covington; 7 grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mr. Jones will be held Friday, September 10, 2010, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, with Pastor Barney Johnson officiating, and interment following in Duncan Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday, September 9, from 6-9 PM.
