Tron Lewis, of Covington, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020, at the age of 48. Tron grew up in Marietta and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked as an accounts manager for Behr Paint Company and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Covington. He was an all-around sports enthusiast and attended games and other sporting events whenever possible. Tron closely followed and supported his favorite teams with great passion - the Dallas Cowboys, the Florida State Seminoles, and the Atlanta Braves. In addition, he was a founding member of the more recently-formed Atlanta United FC. For all the amazing qualities he possessed and the lives he touched, Tron will undoubtedly be remembered most as a genuine friend and a wonderful husband, father, brother, and son. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Cal Lewis.
A life well-lived and the memories made will keep Tron close in the hearts of many, especially his wife of fifteen years, Heather Lewis; daughter, Dylaney Lewis; son, Dylan Lewis; mother, Wilma Jean Lewis; sisters and brother-in-law, Cassandra Tate, Yaquita Lewis, Chandra and Tony Dailey; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ramon and Deana Lewis, Cory Lewis, Chad and Kesha Lewis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the current COVID-19, and coronavirus pandemic recommendations, the family regrets that the services must be private. Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, GA 30114.
