Tyrone Lee Wilborn

Tyrone Lee Wilborn, of Newborn, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024, at the age of 76. Mr. Wilborn was a Master Journeyman brick mason and builder. Some of his favorite hobbies included fishing, hunting, farming, and gardening. Mr. Wilborn loved restoring tractors and spending time on the coast taking friends and family fishing on his sea boat. He especially enjoyed spending time with family. Mr. Wilborn was preceded in death by his parents, Belton Lee and Marie L. Wilborn.

Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Charlotte Wilborn; sons, Johnny Wilborn, Lamar Wilborn (Brandi); grandsons, Gage Wilborn, Reed Wilborn; sisters, Marsha Smith (Ricky), Tonya O’Kelley (Chuck); as well as many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Memorial Visitation for Mr. Wilborn will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M., at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. A private memorial for family will be held at a later date.
