Vennie Bell Daniel of Covington, passed away December 29, 2014, at the age of 87. Mrs. Daniel enjoyed visiting yard sales, and in addition to working in her own garden, she liked admiring others' flowers, as well. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Daniel.

Survivors include her sons, JR Daniel, Calvin Daniel; grandchildren, Shane Daniel, Tina Daniel, Scott Daniel; great-grandchildren, Jimmy Daniel Cheek, Tyler Cheek, Lexie Daniel; and her brother, Tom D. Watson.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Daniel will be held Friday, January 2, 2015, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, December 31, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM.
