Violet Ruth Campbell

Violet Ruth Campbell of Covington, passed away June 17, 2016, at the age of 96. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and reading. Ms. Campbell will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elamuel and Ruth (Malcolm) Campbell; brothers, Henri Campbell and Clement Campbell.

Survivors include her sister, Myrtle Campbell; brothers, Nugent Campbell, Osmond Campbell; nieces, Barbara Campbell, Jennifer Campbell, Beverly Campbell, Yvonne Campbell, Shirley Campbell, Christine Campbell, Jenny Campbell, Marvia Campbell, Calesha Campbell; nephews, Easton Lascelles, Renville Lascelles, Denton Campbell, Robert Campbell, Andrew Campbell, O'Neil Campbell, Patrick Campbell, Neville Campbell and Vernon Campbell.

Funeral Services for Ms. Campbell will be held Saturday, July 2, 2016, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rupert Thomas officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may join the family for visitation at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service, from 12:00 - 1:00 PM.
