Violet A. Marchman

Violet A. Marchman, of Covington, passed away May 26, 2013 at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Taylor Marchman. Vicki was born in Armuchee, Georgia and attended high school and college at Berry College where she met Percy. She is survived by 2 siblings, Jerry & Carolyn Stewart and June & Cal Norman; 2 children, Jan Steele and Mike & Anne Marchman; 4 grandchildren, Ashley & Eric Laney and Taylor Steele, Mike & Edith Marchman, and Pat Marchman; and 3 granddaughters, Charlotte, Reagan, and Emma.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 28, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Rd. Covington, GA. Funeral Services for Mrs. Marchman will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2013, 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church, 1139 Usher St. in Covington, with Reverend Phil Miller officiating with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Flowers accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 500, Atlanta, GA 30346.
