Wanda Jane Nichols

Wanda Jane Nichols of Covington passed away January 2, 2013 at Newton Medical Center. She was 47 years of age at the time of her death. Mrs. Nichols was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Britt Wilson. She taught Sunday School for over 20 years, loved her family and her friends. She enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, reading, cooking for people, and scrap booking. Mrs. Nichols loved to play with her dog, Maxx.
Mrs. Nichols is survived by her husband, Frank Nichols of Covington; daughters, Hope Holloway, Christy Phillips; sons and daughter-in-law, Daniel Nichols, Brian and Kelly Nichols, 7 grandchildren; mother, Carrie Inez Wilson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Maggie and Herman Bradford, Annie Laura Wilson, Mary Alice and Duane Criswell, Patsy and Jamie Lodge, Kathy Standridge; brothers and sisters-in-law, Douglas and Birgit Wilson, Thomas and Rachel Wilson, Britt Wilson; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Nichols will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington with Pastor Tracy Puckett, Rev. Gary Satterfield, and Rev. Tony Howeth officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, January 4, from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M.
