Wanda Heath Allen

Wanda Heath Allen, of Covington, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023, at the age of 63. Ms. Allen loved her family and grandchildren and was the family caretaker. She enjoyed watching cooking shows and cooking, being outside in her garden, and liked going on cruises, and traveling to the beach. Ms. Allen was preceded in death by her brothers, Kemp Heath and Ricky Heath.

Survivors include her daughter, Alicia Gallops; grandchildren, Ansley Franklin (Chanden), Tylar Sparks (Ashley); great-grandchildren, Kol Sparks, Kai Gallops, Paisley Franklin, Krimson Sparks; brothers, Larry Heath, Donald Heath (Sherry), Alan Heath; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as significant other, Tim Layne.

Pallbearers will be Larry Heath, Alan Heath, Donald Heath, Larry Heath, Jr., Zack Heath, Tylar Sparks, Levi Kitchens, Kai Gallops, and Kol Sparks.

A Funeral Service for Ms. Allen will be held Sunday, October 1, 2023, 3:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Dr. David C. Moody officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Saturday, September 30, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
