Access RoadWayne Bennett of Covington, passed away January 23, 2012, at the age of 63. Wayne enjoyed fishing, hunting, restoring old cars, and riding his motorcycle. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda (Chapman) Bennett; parents, S.D. and Ethel (Brady) Bennett; two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his sons, Dwayne Bennett, Scott Bennett, both of Covington; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Aubrey Bennett, Covington; several nieces and nephews.Funeral Services for Wayne will be held Friday, January 27, 2012, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Mike Scott officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, January 26, from 6:00-8:00 PM.
