Willard Lee Bailey, of Loganville, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at the age of 84. Mr. Bailey attended New Testament Baptist Church, in Loganville, and retired from French’s Ice Cream Factory, in Atlanta. He enjoyed reading the Bible, fishing and hunting, and taking walks around the neighborhood. Above all, the time spent with his grandchildren is what Mr. Bailey treasured most. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Bailey; parents, Herbert and Nora Bailey; and brother, Bill Bailey.
Survivors include his daughters, Clara Clayton (Shorty), Nora Bivens (Hal), Helen Perrin (Carl), Shonna Haslett (Robert); son, Kenny Brown (Savannah); 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Pete Bailey (Connie), Harold Bailey (Patricia); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service for Mr. Bailey will be held Sunday, July 10, 3:00 P.M., 2022, at Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Mickey Oliver officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home Sunday, prior to his service from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M.
