Willia Dean W. Popham

Willia Dean W. Popham of Covington, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at the age of 72. Mrs. Popham enjoyed many different hobbies throughout her life such as camping, sewing, and going to flea markets, but most all, she had a remarkable green thumb and loved her flowers. She relished in making everyone happy and always knew how to make you laugh. Mrs. Popham cherished the time spent with her family – especially her grandchildren for whom she adored baking treats. She will be remembered for her greatest passion, which was teaching her family to love one another and will be immensely missed by all. Mrs. Popham was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Christopher Parker, Caden Popham; parents, Joseph Clyde and Jewell Dean Williams.

Those left to cherish her loving memory is her husband, Charles Kenneth Popham; daughters, Sarah Popham, Jennifer Payne; son, Kenneth and Shannon Popham; grandchildren, Ashley Strange, Amanda Payne, Mason Winkles, Olivia Winkles; great-grandchild, Shawn Strange; and brother, Larry Joe Williams.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Popham will be held Saturday, June 20, 2020, 1:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Friday, June 19, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
