William B. Chappell

William B. Chappell of Covington, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at the age of 81. Mr. Chappell was a believer of Christ and an honorable man - always keeping his word. He enjoyed making people laugh, listening to Gospel music, reading and was a huge fan of sports, especially the Braves and the Falcons. Mr. Chappell loved his family and cat, Sparky, dearly and will be missed by all those who knew him.

Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Linda F. Chappell; daughters and sons-in-law, Kim R. and Tim Reynolds, Susan and Chris Zorbaugh; son and daughter-in-law, William Paul and Alisa Chappell; grandchildren, Mistie and Brandon Barker, Billy Reynolds, Kayla and Matthew Clack, Jessica Zorbaugh, Lexi Zorbaugh, McKinley, Kameron Chappell; 8 great-grandchildren, sister, Jean McKibben; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Chappell will be held Saturday, November 30, 2019, 3:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, two hours prior to his service, from 1:00 - 3:00 P.M.
