William "Bill" Earl Jenkins, aged 75, of Covington, GA, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025. Born on October 7, 1949, in Waynesville, NC, to the late Hilda and William Jenkins. Bill's legacy is carried on by his adored family, including his daughter Heather and son-in-law Rob Whitlow, his cherished granddaughter Emma Whitlow, and his loving sisters Judy Whitener and Mary Penland. He was also a beloved uncle to several nieces and nephews who will fondly remembered. Known for his unwavering work ethic, Bill's love for his family knew no bounds. He was a man who found joy in the simplicities of life—enjoying the beauty of the great outdoors or engaging in lively conversations with both friends and strangers alike. Bill's passion for classic muscle cars and antiques reflected his appreciation for craftsmanship and history. Above all, Bill will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather—the best, as attested by his family. His kind and generous nature made every encounter with him memorable. Bill lived a life rich in experiences and relationships; his departure leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of those who knew him.
A Memorial Visitation for Bill will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M., at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington.
