William D. Rainey

Access RoadWilliam D. Rainey of Decatur, passed away March 15, 2010, at the age of 88. Mr. Rainey was a member of Union United Methodist Church, in Stockbridge. Mr. Rainey was a devoted husband for over 62 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Odus and Beulah Long Rainey. Survivors include his loving wife, Maggie Almand Rainey of Decatur; over three generations of nieces and nephews; aunt, Marjorie Rainey of Covington; and several cousins. A Graveside Service for Mr. Rainey will be held Thursday, March 18, 2010, 11 AM, at Lawnwood Memorial Park, in Covington, with Dr. Wallace Wheeles officiating. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Wednesday, March 17, from 6-8 PM.
