William D. Roberts

Access RoadDr. William D. Roberts of Covington, passed away January 30, 2012, at the age of 68. Dr. Roberts practiced family dentistry for more than 44 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army; and enjoyed traveling to national parks, working in the yard, and spending time with his new grandson. Dr. Roberts is loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Newitt Drew and Nell (McMichael) Roberts.Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Miles Roberts of Covington; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Andrew Barker; grandson, Colton Drew Barker, all of Baltimore, MD; sister and brother-in-law, Jenell Roberts and Jim Toole of Stone Mountain; brother and sister-in-law, John and Jackie Roberts of Loganville; niece and nephews, Chris Roberts, Holly Roberts, and Brian Conner.A Memorial Service for Dr. Roberts will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012, 1:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Tyler Downing officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.
